Overview:

SGA is seeking a skilled Data Analytics Subject Matter Expert (SME) with expertise in Cyber Security Data, Tableau, and Splunk to join our dynamic team. As a SME, you will provide technical, managerial, and administrative direction for defining problems, analyzing requirements, and implementing solutions for complex data analytics systems. Your expertise will contribute to organizational improvements and decision-making through data-driven insights and storytelling.

Responsibilities:

• Support leadership in defining problems, analyzing data, develop data taxonomy, and developing requirements for data analytics projects, particularly in the realm of Cyber Security Data.
• Utilize industry best practices and methodologies to ensure high-quality delivery of data analytics solutions, leveraging tools such as Tableau and Splunk.
• Recommend and advise on organization-wide improvements, optimizations, and maintenance based on data insights derived from Cyber Security Data analysis.
• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to conduct comprehensive data analysis and drive informed decision-making.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Tableau and Splunk that effectively communicate findings to executive and operational stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• CISSP Certification or equivalent.
• Proven experience (6+ years) in providing technical direction and managing data analytics projects, preferably with Cyber Security Data.
• Expertise in utilizing data analysis tools and platforms such as Tableau and Splunk.
• Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and compelling data stories.
• Experience in developing and presenting reports and dashboards to both executive and operational levels.

Title: Data Entry Specialist

Location: Barksdale Air Force Base, LA

Overview:

SGA is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to support the Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) at Barksdale Air Force Base. This position is contingent upon contract award and funding availability. The ideal candidate will provide data entry and administrative support for the Transition Assistance Program (TAP), ensuring accurate records and compliance with government standards.

Responsibilities:

• Input and update TAP workshop details in AFFIRST and track attendance.
• Update client checklists on DD Form 2648 in milConnect after workshops.
• Maintain accountability statistics for TAP.
• Prepare and manage daily sign-up sheets for workshops.
• Contact seminar participants via email/phone to confirm attendance.
• Assist with front desk operations, including phone management and scheduling.
• Schedule and communicate with TAP workshop participants via email/phone.
• Assist in classroom setup and government laptop distribution for training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements, including safeguarding government property and maintaining privacy regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 6 months of data entry experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong typing skills and ability to work with office equipment.
• Familiarity with internet databases and ability to track data in AFFIRST.
• Ability to plan, organize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of military protocol and experience in a social service environment is a plus

Security & Compliance:

• Must comply with base security regulations, including traffic laws and key control.
• Must adhere to Privacy Act regulations when handling client data.
• Required to obtain and display government-issued identification while on duty.

Work Schedule & Benefits:

• Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours per week).
• No work required on federal holidays and designated base closure days.
• Work performed on-site at Barksdale AFB, LA.
